Dreams and the Bible

In the Bible, dreams are significant channels of divine communication, serving as a direct, often symbolic, medium through which God reveals His will, provides guidance, offers warnings, or prophesies future events to both believers and non-believers.

They reveal God’s active involvement in human affairs, often requiring divine interpretation from figures such as Jacob/Israel, Joseph, the son of Jacob, and Daniel the prophet. Joseph, the husband of Mary, was given many dreams that would protect the Messiah, not to mention the dreams given to the Apostles Peter, Paul, and John on the Isle of Patmos.

Dreams are a central and recurring method of divine communication throughout the Bible, appearing more than 50 times in both the Old and New Testaments. While not every dream is considered a message from God, the Bible portrays specific dreams as pivotal tools for foretelling the future, providing protection, and revealing God’s sovereignty over nations.

If you removed the dreams and visions from the Bible, we would get a far different picture. The Dreams in the Bible were used to shape covenants, redirect nations, reveal empires, protect the Messiah, and unveil the future.

I do not want to expound on the subject of dreams and visions promised to believers in Acts 2:17, but I do want to share explicitly the dream that foretold the first and last harbinger to be given to America before its expiration date in November 2026. I may already be with the Lord when this transpires.

The first harbinger was on September 11, 2001. The Lord began showing me in a dream the two tall buildings in New York City where I was born. There was a word spoken in the dream, “Serious Fire Alarm.” The date was September 13, 1994, the 2nd Tuesday of September. The next thing He revealed was that America would be attacked in 2001.

On September 4, 2001, while having a conversation with a fellow minister, the Lord interrupted the conversation with this message, “Something very explosive is getting ready to happen on 9/11. I excused myself, went straight to my car, and called my first pastor, who was now retired, to tell him the message. That was a 7-day warning. On the 2nd Tuesday of September, the date was 9/11/2001. The rest is history.

The last harbinger will be on September 11, 2026. The Divided States of America will experience a catastrophic earthquake in San Francisco, California. This earthquake will take down the Golden Gate Bridge. This will be the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in 2001.

2026 will also be the 120th anniversary of the Great San Francisco Earthquake in 1906.
2026 will also be the 120th anniversary of the 1906 Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles, California.
2026 will also be the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
2026 will also be the year of the Rapture, when the saints of God will be called up to meet the Lord.
2026 will also be the year America the Beautiful will be destroyed in one hour by a sneak attack from Russia.
2026 will also be the year that the 7-year tribulation begins.

This will also fulfill the 2nd half of the prophecy I received in Jerusalem.

Thus says the Lord,

……………The appointed time is at hand, even at the Door. I will shake the earth, and who is he that can stop Me? I will have no more mercy upon this people. They have set up idols, and they do worship them. For this, I will cut a little grass,

But the mower will follow quickly in His time. I have offered My loving-kindness and the power of My right hand daily, but you would not take hold. Instead, you were led astray by dumb idols, even as you were led. For this cause, the Lord of Hosts has determined to bring down the high tree. My Spirit shall not always strive with man.

The first half of this prophecy was fulfilled on August 24, 2014, with the Napa Valley earthquake, which caused about 1 billion dollars in damage but unfortunately killed 1 or 2 people. If no one had died, the first half of the prophecy could not have been fulfilled. Two people dying is a tragedy. Nevertheless, it is a warning of a catastrophic future earthquake. “For all flesh is as grass.” Isaiah 40:6, I Peter 1:24

Now I will tell you the whole dream, which will be confirmed by two witnesses, that the Rapture will happen before this catastrophic earthquake.

I dreamed I was standing on the Golden Gate Bridge, and a young child I knew from my church was standing beside me. I always knew her as Vina, but her actual name was Levina. Her Jamaican grandmother, Flo, was raising her because there were some negative things happening with Levina’s mother.

Flo wanted Vina to grow up as a Christian. Flo has gone on to be with the Lord, but I was able to share the dream with her some years before she passed away. Because this was the only part of the dream that Vina was in, I was sure that the Lord wanted to say something to me through Levina’s name.

I had a book in my ministerial library entitled “The Name Book,” authored by Dorothea Austin. From a little of the Preface of the book, she explains that your name is a very important aspect of your personality and that her book was compiled so that you may recognize the character-building value of understanding its meaning.

The Scriptures tell us that “a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches.” Names are more than a means of identification. The name Eve, for example, means “mother of all living” and was given to the first woman in order to represent the fulfillment of God’s plan for her.

Abram’s name was changed to Abraham, “for a father of many nations have I made thee.” Jacob’s name became Israel, “for as a prince hast thou prevailed.”

Because I was a Christian and a dreamer, I found out in the early eighties that if the Lord gave me a dream that was unclear and included a certain person, I would look up their name in the “Name Book.” For example, the Lord may be speaking to me through the meaning of that person’s name, or He could be speaking to me through the Scripture that went with the person’s name.

The Name Book has 1,200 names, each with its meanings, origins, and significance. It would give the Name, the Cultural Origin, the Inherent Meaning, the Spiritual Cannotation, and the Supporting Scripture

The scene shifted from the bridge to a building at its foot. Like a place where visitors could buy souvenirs, maps, and information about tours. You could get snacks and drinks. They also had a restroom area with comfortable chairs and at least one couch for people who were perhaps waiting for family or friends who were using the restrooms.

Now, as I look at this restroom area, I see something very shocking. Where there had been people sitting on chairs and on the couch, I now saw personal items like pocketbooks, wallets, and expensive cameras. Vina was also gone. Not realizing what had taken place, I thought to myself: Why would people leave their personal items in a public area without supervision?

Now I am back on the Golden Gate Bridge, and it was suddenly falling down into the San Fransico Bay. As the bridge collapsed, I was sent into the Bay. When I got to the shoreline, I climbed out on dry ground, and I was instantly translateded to the sidewalk at the southwest corner of the West Palm Beach Church of God.

It was early evening on the East Coast, but still the afternoon on the West Coast. When I saw my 1st Pastor’s wife, Joan, standing at the northwest corner of the church. She was young again, and so beautiful. There seemed to be light emanating from her face. She had a beautiful gown on that reminded me of the era, like the days in the movie “Gone with the Wind.”

I was looking at a glorified saint, and I knew that the rapture had already taken place before the Golden Gate Bridge went down. Then I understood why Levina was gone and why personal items had been left behind in the restroom area to identify those who had been caught up to be with the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17).

When the rapture takes place, it will be as lightning that flashes from the east to the west. Matthew 24:27. Light travels at 186 thousand miles per second. There will not be time to go to the market and buy oil for your lamp. Matthew 25:1-10

The earth shook when Jesus died, as well as when He arose from the dead, and it will shake again when the dead in Christ are raised and are caught up together with the living saints. I Thessalonians 4:16-18.

I am praying for our divided nation, which is destined to fall, according to Matthew 12:25. I pray that revival will break out before our nation is destroyed.

As of 04/18/2026, there are 21weeks remaining until the Rapture of the Church on 09/11/2026. To be more specific on the exact timing of the Rapture according to the dream, it takes place while it is still daylight in San Francisco, California, and evening on the East Coast of Florida. Sunset in San Francisco, California, on 9/11/2026 will be at 7:23 pm. Sunset in West Palm Beach, Florida, on the same day will be at 7:29 pm.

I do not know the exact hour of the Rapture, but according to the dream, I would say it was about 5-6 pm in San Francisco, California; 8-9 pm in West Palm Beach, Florida, on 9/11/2026, and 3-4 am in Israel on 9/12/2026, which is actually the day of Yom Teruah. You certainly can extrapolate it from another time on the clock, but it has to be evening on the East Coast and still daylight on the West Coast.
