| Completed 5 hours of intercessory prayer in Rehavia Jerusalem. Waiting upon the Lord in prayer. Have had some computer network problems, but will try to get this resolved this week. The Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to meet with Gilad's family at is compound when he returns from Washington. Gilad was kidnaped 4 years ago and is now being used as a pawn by the terrorist group in the Gaza strip. Thousands of protester's are marching to the Prime Minister's compound which is just up the street from our ministry residence. They have vowed to stay there until Gilad is released. Hamas has demanded that Israel release a thousand prisoners in exchange for Gilad's life. The sticking point is that hundreds of these prisoners are major terrorists and have killed hundreds of Israeli's over the years. Hamas has demanded that they be released and allowed to continue to live in the Gaza strip which will bring more terror to Israeli's. This will happen in just a matter od days. Please pray for this meeting in Washington. It appears that the Prime Minister is beginning to cave in to all the international pressure. There is a definite division in Israel. Israel has been down this road in the past. Concessions to terrorists for peace has never worked, but brought more terror. Please pray. |
